Russian Business ChannelRBC TV business television channel went live in September 2003 and ever since has been the only source of business news on Russian television.

RBC TV is on the air round-the-clock, covering economic, financial and relevant political events in Russia and abroad, features analytical reviews, forecasts and expert commentaries, interviews with top business people and politicians, business press reviews, as well as special programs that give an in-depth look into current issues for Russian business.

Over 90% of information featured on RBC TV is dedicated to events in Russia and produced in-house. RBC TV has a professional team of 650 specialists with a background in business media, including 40 analysts from commercial banks and financial companies.

RBC-TV broadcasting

RBC TV broadcasts updates of global market information, as well as business and economic news produced by the CNBC and CNN television channels, which are the official partners of RBC TV. RBC TV distributes its signal via satellite channels, cable networks, cable and terrestrial channels, the Stream TV interactive television, regional partners, and via the Internet.

The key advertisers for RBC TV are financial organizations, including banks and insurance companies; real estate and construction firms, business service providers, telecommunications and hi-tech companies, as well as companies listed on stock exchanges.

In 2006, RBC TV established coverage in nearly all major Russian cities The television channel is currently available to most of its core audience: managers, state officials, business people and persons responsible for making key business decisions.

The technical penetration of the channel now reaches 53m Russians. In addition, RBC TV distributes its signal to the CIS states including Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus, and the Baltic countries as well. According to RBC's estimates, RBC TV 's total coverage outside Russia is close to 15m people. The channel's monthly audience has reached virtually 9m viewers, and in terms of average viewing time, RBC TV matches that of national channels.
